Before the Civil War, higher education for Black people was virtually non-existent.

Black people were denied admission to traditionally white institutions, which, as a result, gave birth to HBCUs. There are currently more than 100 HBCUs across the U.S., offering a wide range of programs and an all-inclusive community. Sign up on our mailing list to be notified of the next upcoming tour.
